The first year of parenthood is a very busy one as you adjust to your new role as a parent. Our programs are specially designed for new parents to give you strength, friendship and knowledge. Our lesson plans focus on the growth and development of your child but also on your growth and development as a parent.

For Mothers And Their New Babies
Ages: Birth - 3 Months

The first few months of parenthood are filled with questions and confusion. You are bombarded with information and advice coming from every direction. How do you sort out your feelings, filter through the information, get some sleep and try to do what you think is best?

Participating in this program gives you strength and companionship. Take the opportunity to meet other parents with babies about the same age as yours. Learn something new at each meeting, get and give advice, and be heard.

Tummy Time

Get your body back! We know that your baby is too young to take to the gym so we bring the personal trainer to you. A weekly core work out will help you flatten your tummy, regain your energy, strength and flexibility. Our enthusiastic certified personal trainer will motivate and support your journey back into your old jeans. Moms are welcome to participate after their 6 week postpartum checkup.

Infant Massage

Participating in this very special parent education program fosters bonding and attachment between parent and child. Help your baby sleep better, be more comfortable as their body develops and learn how to relieve colic (excessive crying and irritability) symptoms. You can develop your baby’s eye contact and enhance their body functions. This program is taught by a certified infant massage instructor.

My Baby And Me

This program provides the perfect combination of fun and learning! Take the opportunity to have fun with your baby while you learn something new. A portion of program time is devoted to weekly discussion topics which are chosen by you and your group.

Remember all those finger plays, nursery rhymes and simple songs you knew as a child? Come sing, talk, make new friends and experience the amazement of your child growing and changing and get great satisfaction out of knowing you have been an important part of this change.

Sign Language Program For Parents And Their Babies

Strengthen communication with your hearing child. Begin now! These classes are packed with creative, interactive activities making learning a second language fun and easy. The information contained in this program is provided by our experienced CPR instructors and includes: infant and child CPR, managing obstructed airway (choking), safety, accident prevention and proper supervision. An important program for anyone who cares for infants and young children. A great addition to our Newborn Baby Care Basics class.
